Stainless Steel Hand Blender — Blends Directly in the Pot or Glass

A jar mixer means pouring hot soup into a jar, blending it, pouring it back, and then washing the jar, the lid and the gasket. For one bowl of soup that is more cleaning than cooking.

A hand blender goes into the pot instead. Lower it into whatever you are already cooking — dal, soup, gravy, baby food — and blend it where it sits. Afterwards you rinse one steel shaft under the tap and you are finished.

The blending shaft is stainless steel rather than plastic, which means it can go straight into a hot pot without softening or staining, and it will not pick up the smell of yesterday's masala the way plastic does.

Use it for

Dal and soup, tomato and onion gravy, lassi and milkshakes, chutney, baby food, and whisking eggs or batter.

How to use

Submerge the blade fully before switching on, or it will spray. Move it slowly around the pot rather than holding it in one place. Take the pot off the heat first. Run the shaft under warm water immediately after use.

Good to know

Only the shaft is washable — never immerse the motor housing. Do not run continuously for more than a minute at a time. Cash on Delivery available across India.
